Merla, Bath
I imagined Merla was camping somewhere with her troops when she happened upon a pool of clear water. What royalty couldn't resist after slugging things out with the Voltron Force and Lotor?
This is a study on an alternate Merla. Traditionally her hair is pink, but as much as possible I'd render it in red -- red hair personally looks better in battle scenes,; she already has pink skin and more pink would be overkill. I also think pink is for cute stuff like Trolls or or Allura's gown, hardly something I identify with this character. Oh, yeah, big inspiration from Red Sonja stuff.
Also just a personal take, but I do the same color alteration for her eyes' irises because I wanted to distinguish her race from Lotor's character design.
