This is my first attempt to color a pencilled outline entirely in Photoshop, which accounts for the comparatively stiffer, mannequin-like finish. Obviously I do not have a developed system for this type of rendering nor am I comfortable with coloring directly with the software app.
After several tries, though (see Merla 2; and to a lesser degree, Hunk 1 and Lotor 2 -- which were colored with watercolor pencils halfway then finished with Adobe Photoshop), it's not likely I'll stick to this style and stick with just sketches or coloring manually, then scanning to enhance with Photoshop.
